I have always been one to eat “healthy” and exercise regularly and quite frankly, staying in shape was never a problem for me. When I had my second baby, I had the hardest time losing the baby weight. I turned to any quick-fix diet that was trending, and I was spending countless hours in the gym doing cardio workouts. It wasn’t working. Four years ago, One of my childhood friends introduced me to tracking macros (aka: flexible dieting), and I haven’t looked back. In one year of tracking macros, I reached my goal weight (and more), I saw true body composition changes, and I felt the best I had felt in years. I learned how to fuel my body right all while still enjoying my favorites: cookies, ice cream, tacos, and any and all foods typically labeled “bad.” I learned balance and portion control, and I found the nutritional freedom I had been searching for.
A year and a half into my macro journey, I became a certified nutrition consultant and macro coach. I have a passion for nutrition, and I love sharing the knowledge I have gained throughout my journey.
